The thoroughfare of Shenzhen Zhongshan project is a world-class cluster project of “bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interconnectivity”. It is a major national project during the 13th Five Year Plan period and an important transportation link connecting the three major areas of Guangdong Free Trade Zone and the two functional clusters of “Shenzhen, Donggua, Huizhou” and “Zhuzhongjiang” in the Zhujiang River Delta.

How can the lighting of the 270 meter bridge tower present a majestic nighttime image while maintaining low carbon and energy efficiency?
At the bottom lighting of the tower, we optimized the lighting method to emit light at intervals of 600W and 400W, with 400W illuminating the lower half and 600W illuminating higher positions. By using different sizes and angles of projection, the 270 meter tall tower is accurately and gently illuminated, creating a gentle and uniform halo effect.
Minor changes can make the lighting effect of the bridge tower uniform and soft without affecting the overall illumination, further reducing energy consumption. The wonder of light lies in this.
This project is a cross sea bridge with a long viewing distance, and the original bridge railing lighting effect was relatively weak.
We have changed the customized contour lights on both sides of the bridge to three, using a multi-level arrangement and combination of line lights to enhance the projection area when viewed from a distance, making the bridge lighting more prominent from lines to surfaces. After optimization, the bridge guardrail light strip is more prominent and highly recognizable.
